Diana Kokoszka

I am a divorce and family mediator serving clients in New Jersey in both English and Polish.

My path to mediation combines extensive professional experience in legal and medical settings with personal experience navigating the divorce process. Through these experiences, I have developed a strong appreciation for clear communication, careful listening, impartiality, and a practical approach when people are navigating important and often difficult decisions.

Training

I completed a 40-hour divorce mediation training with the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators (NJAPM), where I received training in the mediation process and issues commonly addressed in divorce and family mediation. I am also a member of NJAPM.

I have extensive experience as a professional Polish-English interpreter, including interpreting in court, legal, and medical settings.

I approach mediation with neutrality, patience, respect, and practicality.

My role is not to decide who is right or wrong or to make decisions for either party. Instead, I help both sides identify the issues that need to be resolved, communicate their concerns, consider possible solutions, and work toward agreements they can both accept.

For Polish-speaking clients

For Polish-speaking clients, I can conduct mediation entirely in Polish or bilingually in Polish and English, depending on the needs of the parties.
