Mediation Services

I provide divorce and family mediation services in English and Polish, both in person and online.

Every family is different. Mediation provides a structured and confidential setting in which both parties can identify the issues that need to be resolved, discuss their priorities and concerns, and work toward mutually acceptable solutions.

Divorce Mediation

Divorce mediation can help couples address the issues involved in ending their marriage and explore whether they can resolve some or all of those issues through mutual agreement.

As a neutral mediator, I help both parties identify the matters that need to be addressed, communicate their positions and priorities, and explore practical options for reaching an agreement.

Depending on your circumstances, mediation may address parenting arrangements, financial issues, support, division of marital assets and debts, and other matters related to separation and divorce.

Parenting Plans

When children are involved, mediation can help parents develop practical arrangements that reflect their children's needs while providing clarity for both parents.

Topics may include parenting schedules, holidays and vacations, school-related decisions, extracurricular activities, transportation, communication between parents, and other parenting responsibilities.

The goal is to help parents create a workable parenting plan while reducing unnecessary conflict.

Alimony & Child Support

Financial support is often one of the most important issues that couples need to address during separation and divorce.

Mediation provides an opportunity to discuss alimony and child support, including the parties' incomes, expenses, financial circumstances, and the needs of their children.

As a mediator, I remain neutral and facilitate these discussions. I do not provide legal advice to either party, and each party may consult an independent attorney regarding their legal rights and obligations.

Equitable Distribution

Dividing marital property and debt can involve many decisions.

Through mediation, couples can identify and discuss assets and liabilities such as real estate, bank accounts, retirement assets, investments, vehicles, credit-card debt and other marital property.

The mediation process can help both parties work toward mutually acceptable decisions regarding the division of their financial lives.

Online Mediation (Zoom)

For clients who prefer the convenience of meeting remotely, mediation sessions are available through Zoom.

Online mediation can be particularly helpful for busy parents, parties who live in different locations, or anyone who prefers to participate from the privacy and convenience of their own home.
